Joy e-bike Mihos is the company's first indigenously developed bike. The benchmarking and style direction was decided to be a 'Retro' aesthetic.
The bike uses PDCPD (Polydicyclopentadiene). PDCPD exhibits high crosslinking, granting it properties such as high impact resistance, good chemical corrosion resistance, and a high heat deflection temperature.
However, the material comes with its own challenges. Complex shapes are not possible; hence, the main body panels were made in PDCPD. In areas where detailing needed to be absolutely essential, such as the headlamps, indicator, and tail lamp housing, ABS plastics were chosen. The bike was launched on January 22nd, 2023, all over India and is available to buy through Joy e-bike outlets.
